An exchange of dialogue is probably better than running on what's said out in the open, wouldn't you agree?

On the contrary, it might help shed some light. If you're wolves, you could have a lot to gain from defending a sheep team that's likely to be grateful for the help. More than you would if you were sheep defending a team of dubious innocence.

Grateful... [ seems somewhat amused. ] I guess that makes sense in theory, but it's not that complicated, I'm just willing to stand up for Stein.

For certain values of 'grateful', of course.

My, how sweet. Even if it jeopardizes your chances of winning?

[ ...doesn't want to answer that queeeestioooon. ]

[looks you over a bit as you don't answer]

Hm-mm?

Look, I don't care if it implicates me, think what you want. I'm not answering that. Next question.

Fine.

Do you know many of the other players from before the game?

[identity profile] captaincy.livejournal.com 2008-12-18 08:30 am (UTC)(link)
My partner, Rose, and you two — of course. Tokitoh, the guy who got eaten, he was in the last game of this I played. Robert Haydn's a friend of mine, and his partner Peter Petrelli I've spoken to once or twice. And I think once that stuttering guy caused me to speak in haiku....

I'm only acquainted with you and of course Stein, myself. Can you tell me anything about the others? How they act outside of the game. I wouldn't want to develop baseless suspicions due to something that's just a normal mannerism.

Robert's, uh, he's a little blunt. He's smart, though, and kinda... dark. He'd definitely make a good wolf. I don't know that much about Peter, I think he's the earnest heroic sort, and probably wouldn't make a good wolf at all.
