Question Meme!

I am a sheep and bored anyway.

It goes LIKE SO. You comment here and ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons or what, who I might consider raping you into apping, etc.

WHEN I REPLY I will also ask you a question in turn!

In this way we talk at each other, which is fun.

Currently play Azuma, Bunshichi, Tarou, and Stein!

Although it should be my major, Graphic Design, I'm kind of at odds with it right now. It's the third week of school and I have senioritis. So, currently, it's my Shakespeare class. Because my professor is hugely entertaining and we watch the movies of what we're reading. And I genuinely like Shakespeare, and I like analyzing characters and forming thoughts and concepts. Writing is, unsurprisingly, one of my strongest points. But also you have to realize that my schedule for the past two years has been "Graphic Design, Graphic Design, Art History" and this is my first English class in four years. IT'S SO SHINY.

Cats or dogs?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
I actually like both! I love cats because they're so haughty but they usually love to cuddle. However, I could go without their needing to claw up everything. Dogs, on the hand, I love to play with and I love to have around as a companion. One thing that I can't keep up with all the time, though, is if the dog has a boundless amount of energy. I run out quickly, apparently. So I would love to have one of each some day. Or something. I miss having my cat Vivi and I want a puppy. :<

How long have you been on LJ and why did you join in the first place?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
About a year almost exactly, now. I joined because Harley had one, and we were living together for the first time, so me and the two other roommates all made LJs so we could be cool like Harley. And then we all posted like one thing. And then maybe another thing about the RATS!!! but then forgot about it. And then Harley was like "hey. hey I'm in this game and you can be the Booster to my Beetle or the Huntress to my Question. What's it going to be?" and I said "Booster" and wrote the app. And then asked her how the game is played. IT WAS A LITTLE BACKWARDS.

But it all goes back to blame Harley. And sometimes say yes to peer pressure.

Same question at you!

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
August 2004. Mostly it was because I tried everywhere else--Myspace, Xanga, blah blah blah. But they were boring and the people at school who had them were boring and I didn't want to deal with them in the first place. I forget where I heard about Livejournal in the first place, but I made one and have been here since and probably will never leave, even if I want to. :<

Do you listen to music when you RP? If so, care to give a sample?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
I don't listen to anything particular and sometimes I have to just turn everything off because I'll lose my focus and completely forget where I was going with something. But lately, I've been making stations on pandora.com (http://www.pandora.com/) based on Scissor Sisters, Matt Nathanson, and Iron and Wine (and a few others) and right now I'm listening to the Ditty Bops, which I'm a bit too lazy to upload right now. But yeah. Usually depending on my mood dictates whether it's The Format or something else. But I've been on a huge Format kick lately.

What's your favorite movie that you're SO ASHAMED FOR LIKING but love anyway?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
... I have a lot of them, it's hard to say. But I guess that any chick flick that I like would be one of them. Titanic is definitely one of them. Orz. I LIKE THE MUSIC. AND I SO DON'T CRY AT THE END. SHURRUP.

Can you cook? What's your favorite recipe?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
If prodded, I can cook. I really good at following directions, yo. It's not my natural habitat, however, because I don't like all the clean up that goes with it. One day Harley will teach me the secret of her amazing tuna steak with ginger soy sauce. I HATE FISH and that is my favorite thing she makes. But as for me, I like hamburgers with sweet potato fries. YUMMMM. And I like that when I make the hamburgers TOTALLY RARE the sweet little french girl I'm watching digs right in. They teach their kids to love raw meat over there. :D

Your least favorite food ever? Like, makes you gag thinking about it.

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
Green Bean Casserole. NEVER EVER EVER TRY TO FEED ME IT. I often feel like hurting whoever keeps making it for Thanksgiving because I hate the smell, I hate the taste, and I hate being forced to clean the nasty dish it was in. *shudders just thinking about it*

What's the one thing you miss about France?

[identity profile] wonderseal.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly? Really and truly honestly? I was really done with it when I left. There are some people that live in Atlanta that I don't get to see anymore, and I miss them. And the scenery was gorgeous. And I'll go back to France again. It really was a nice place, but I ended up not being in the right mindset for it.

Though I do miss not being held responsible for work I didn't do because hey, it's France.

Your dream vacation spot?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
Tough choice because I don't really have a dream vacation spot. Really, my ideal vacation would be traveling and never being in the same place for more than a day. I like the adventure and plus, VACATION~

What's your lucky number?

[identity profile] wonderseal.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
23. My birthday's on January 23 (1.23) and I've always found prime numbers to be intriguing. Yesterday I got really happy because I looked at my clock and it was 23:23 (I keep it on military time). So yes. Solid 23.

What's your favorite word? In English, and if you have one in any of the other languages you know.

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
Liquid is actually my favorite English word. No real reason why, it just looks fun and I'm easily amused. ... no idea about the other languages I know.

What was the best gift you've ever gotten?

[identity profile] wonderseal.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
...How do I answer that. God. Uh. Well, I can't. But one of the sweetest things I've ever gotten was last year on my birthday I was having a bad day and I was feeling sick, so Harley went out when I was in class and got a bouquet of wildflowers and all sorts of medicine to help me feel better (like four different things) and I think she made me soup (it's what we do when someone doesn't feel well, so probably). My roommate is the best.

Your favorite birthday memory? (Unless you're a bad luck birthday person. Then your favorite summer-related memory)

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
... ahaha. I am actually a bad-luck birthday person because my bday is August 15th so it's always right before school and not only that but BAD THINGS like my mom kicking my dad out happen near or around my bday. Orz. So uh. Favorite summer-related memory would be all the times I was a kid that my dad and my sisters and I would ride our bikes to go swimming at the military base's pool (military brat, ftw). It was a wickedly deep pool whose shallow end was like 6ft some days. :DDD

What would you say CFUD has changed about your life if it has? If not, what's one thing that has changed your life?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Well, meeting tons of people that I would normally never know. I've learned a lot about the world (I never knew what language they spoke in Singapore until I asked Toph, and I probably wouldn't have learned. I'm still not sure I know.) On the flip side, probably negatively, it has made me less inclined to initiate contact with RL friends. Not just new people. Friends I've had for 16 years. But honestly, I'm not sure if I can blame that on the game or just on my evolution as a human. It can be hard to go back into being friends with other people when you're so used to the expectations of one set.

Now, that question for you!

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
Ditto for me on the branching out and getting to know things about the world that I wouldn't have otherwise known. But It hasn't changed very much in terms of how I relate to people. I'm still very much the stand-offish type who doesn't really feel like she fits in any one place. But CFUD does make things easier for me to be myself and also it's given me a chance to meet more people who support the whole "Go out and be yourself with other people" thing. ... while also eating my life away. |D

What's a favorite famous quote of yours and why?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly I can't think right now. This is what popped into my head.

"I wish I could drink like a lady,
One or two at the most.
Three I'm under the table,
Four I'm under the host."
-Dorothy Parker

THIS IN NO WAY REPRESENTS ME. I just find it hilarious.

"It's safe to say that in a true war story nothing is ever absolutely true." - Tim O'Brien The Things They Carried.

I'm in love with the idea that things can be true without being factual. The emotion that is conveyed in a movie or a book or whatever is a real communication, even if it never happened in that particular way.

Your favorite childhood storybook? The one that you memorized or wore out and all the pages fell out of. If you have one that like~
