Question Meme!

I am a sheep and bored anyway.

It goes LIKE SO. You comment here and ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons or what, who I might consider raping you into apping, etc.

WHEN I REPLY I will also ask you a question in turn!

In this way we talk at each other, which is fun.

Currently play Azuma, Bunshichi, Tarou, and Stein!

[identity profile] a-valiant-rose.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
Scramble up all your characters in eachother's bodies. Who's in who, and what amusing hijinks ensue?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
... oh god.

I think I'd just move everyone up one. Bunshichi in Azuma's body, Tarou in Bunshichi's, Stein in Tarou's, and Azuma in Stein's.

Stein would probably have too much fun with the whole thing and try to take advantage of the fact that Tarou's cast has some interesting characters who has interesting friends and lol.

Bunshichi would be very indignant about it because PINK HAIR BAND WHAT. Also his cast would probably mock him a lot (not that they don't already).

Tarou would be very... oh god. He'd make Bunshichi look like a wuuuuuuuuuss.

And finally, Azuma would use Stein's scientific experiments and the like to MAKE BREAD. Which Stein will find out about later and WANT TO DISSECT THE LITTLE BREADJESUS, CAN I JUST GO WITH A Y INCISION AND PULL OUT HIS SPLEEN?!

And just because I think that question is awsum, turning it on you~

Ce soir? Oui. Donnez-moi votre amour~

Is Booster really a hooker?

[identity profile] boosterrific.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Short answer: NO! Not a hooker.

Long answer: He came back to the past from the future to make it rich as the first corporate superhero. He married a much older woman (and catered to her Wonder Woman fantasizing whims, apparently) in the hopes that when she died, he'd get her inheritance. At one point his entire costume was plastered with corporate logos.

He's not a street walker, but he's probably a hooker.

Why does Stein have a screw in his head?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
Canon doesn't actually say WHY he has a screw in his head. But it's very obvious that he uses it to keep himself focused, twisting it when he's thinking about something or when he's annoyed and getting pissed. Also, I think he twists it the other way right before he fights Medusa but don't quote me on that.

But it's been said that Stein has done experiments on himself for the very same reason he does experiments on everyone else: he needs to know things and one of his way of 'knowing' something is through dissection. So. He more than likely put it there himself for some reason or the other.

Headcanon says he did it because he was bored and he needed a way to focus himself more because lol insanity issues and a need to be in control of himself when he got older kind of demanded it.

What's one thing you would love to RP--plot-wise that is?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
...When I get a Shang (EVENTUALLY I WILL GET ONE. I SWEAR.) I really want him to get suspicious and suspect Mulan to be a girl and then genderswitch her! It is by far the funniest application of a camp effect on any of my characters, and I've been saving it up. Mushu will be so happy. Of course I can't control anyone else, but I will wish and pray it'll go down like this.

How did you get into French?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Mostly I had an interesting in learning other languages since I was younger. My dad knows Spanish and so does my oldest sister, so I took some of that when I was in Junior High. In high school, they only offered French or Spanish and I went, "Well, I already have some Spanish under my belt, so why not French this time?" Ever since then, I've wanted to go into linguistics or something involving the study of languages, but sadly, when I got to university, the only languages offered were--surprise--French and Spanish. So I'm currently majoring in both but am focusing more on my French because I find it the more difficult of the two!

What's your favorite subject in school?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
Although it should be my major, Graphic Design, I'm kind of at odds with it right now. It's the third week of school and I have senioritis. So, currently, it's my Shakespeare class. Because my professor is hugely entertaining and we watch the movies of what we're reading. And I genuinely like Shakespeare, and I like analyzing characters and forming thoughts and concepts. Writing is, unsurprisingly, one of my strongest points. But also you have to realize that my schedule for the past two years has been "Graphic Design, Graphic Design, Art History" and this is my first English class in four years. IT'S SO SHINY.

Cats or dogs?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
I actually like both! I love cats because they're so haughty but they usually love to cuddle. However, I could go without their needing to claw up everything. Dogs, on the hand, I love to play with and I love to have around as a companion. One thing that I can't keep up with all the time, though, is if the dog has a boundless amount of energy. I run out quickly, apparently. So I would love to have one of each some day. Or something. I miss having my cat Vivi and I want a puppy. :<

How long have you been on LJ and why did you join in the first place?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
About a year almost exactly, now. I joined because Harley had one, and we were living together for the first time, so me and the two other roommates all made LJs so we could be cool like Harley. And then we all posted like one thing. And then maybe another thing about the RATS!!! but then forgot about it. And then Harley was like "hey. hey I'm in this game and you can be the Booster to my Beetle or the Huntress to my Question. What's it going to be?" and I said "Booster" and wrote the app. And then asked her how the game is played. IT WAS A LITTLE BACKWARDS.

But it all goes back to blame Harley. And sometimes say yes to peer pressure.

Same question at you!

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
August 2004. Mostly it was because I tried everywhere else--Myspace, Xanga, blah blah blah. But they were boring and the people at school who had them were boring and I didn't want to deal with them in the first place. I forget where I heard about Livejournal in the first place, but I made one and have been here since and probably will never leave, even if I want to. :<

Do you listen to music when you RP? If so, care to give a sample?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
I don't listen to anything particular and sometimes I have to just turn everything off because I'll lose my focus and completely forget where I was going with something. But lately, I've been making stations on pandora.com (http://www.pandora.com/) based on Scissor Sisters, Matt Nathanson, and Iron and Wine (and a few others) and right now I'm listening to the Ditty Bops, which I'm a bit too lazy to upload right now. But yeah. Usually depending on my mood dictates whether it's The Format or something else. But I've been on a huge Format kick lately.

What's your favorite movie that you're SO ASHAMED FOR LIKING but love anyway?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
... I have a lot of them, it's hard to say. But I guess that any chick flick that I like would be one of them. Titanic is definitely one of them. Orz. I LIKE THE MUSIC. AND I SO DON'T CRY AT THE END. SHURRUP.

Can you cook? What's your favorite recipe?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
If prodded, I can cook. I really good at following directions, yo. It's not my natural habitat, however, because I don't like all the clean up that goes with it. One day Harley will teach me the secret of her amazing tuna steak with ginger soy sauce. I HATE FISH and that is my favorite thing she makes. But as for me, I like hamburgers with sweet potato fries. YUMMMM. And I like that when I make the hamburgers TOTALLY RARE the sweet little french girl I'm watching digs right in. They teach their kids to love raw meat over there. :D

Your least favorite food ever? Like, makes you gag thinking about it.

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
Green Bean Casserole. NEVER EVER EVER TRY TO FEED ME IT. I often feel like hurting whoever keeps making it for Thanksgiving because I hate the smell, I hate the taste, and I hate being forced to clean the nasty dish it was in. *shudders just thinking about it*

What's the one thing you miss about France?

[identity profile] wonderseal.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly? Really and truly honestly? I was really done with it when I left. There are some people that live in Atlanta that I don't get to see anymore, and I miss them. And the scenery was gorgeous. And I'll go back to France again. It really was a nice place, but I ended up not being in the right mindset for it.

Though I do miss not being held responsible for work I didn't do because hey, it's France.

Your dream vacation spot?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
Tough choice because I don't really have a dream vacation spot. Really, my ideal vacation would be traveling and never being in the same place for more than a day. I like the adventure and plus, VACATION~

What's your lucky number?

[identity profile] wonderseal.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
23. My birthday's on January 23 (1.23) and I've always found prime numbers to be intriguing. Yesterday I got really happy because I looked at my clock and it was 23:23 (I keep it on military time). So yes. Solid 23.

What's your favorite word? In English, and if you have one in any of the other languages you know.

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
Liquid is actually my favorite English word. No real reason why, it just looks fun and I'm easily amused. ... no idea about the other languages I know.

What was the best gift you've ever gotten?

[identity profile] wonderseal.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
...How do I answer that. God. Uh. Well, I can't. But one of the sweetest things I've ever gotten was last year on my birthday I was having a bad day and I was feeling sick, so Harley went out when I was in class and got a bouquet of wildflowers and all sorts of medicine to help me feel better (like four different things) and I think she made me soup (it's what we do when someone doesn't feel well, so probably). My roommate is the best.

Your favorite birthday memory? (Unless you're a bad luck birthday person. Then your favorite summer-related memory)

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
... ahaha. I am actually a bad-luck birthday person because my bday is August 15th so it's always right before school and not only that but BAD THINGS like my mom kicking my dad out happen near or around my bday. Orz. So uh. Favorite summer-related memory would be all the times I was a kid that my dad and my sisters and I would ride our bikes to go swimming at the military base's pool (military brat, ftw). It was a wickedly deep pool whose shallow end was like 6ft some days. :DDD

What would you say CFUD has changed about your life if it has? If not, what's one thing that has changed your life?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Well, meeting tons of people that I would normally never know. I've learned a lot about the world (I never knew what language they spoke in Singapore until I asked Toph, and I probably wouldn't have learned. I'm still not sure I know.) On the flip side, probably negatively, it has made me less inclined to initiate contact with RL friends. Not just new people. Friends I've had for 16 years. But honestly, I'm not sure if I can blame that on the game or just on my evolution as a human. It can be hard to go back into being friends with other people when you're so used to the expectations of one set.

Now, that question for you!

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
Ditto for me on the branching out and getting to know things about the world that I wouldn't have otherwise known. But It hasn't changed very much in terms of how I relate to people. I'm still very much the stand-offish type who doesn't really feel like she fits in any one place. But CFUD does make things easier for me to be myself and also it's given me a chance to meet more people who support the whole "Go out and be yourself with other people" thing. ... while also eating my life away. |D

What's a favorite famous quote of yours and why?

[identity profile] pingifneeded.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly I can't think right now. This is what popped into my head.

"I wish I could drink like a lady,
One or two at the most.
Three I'm under the table,
Four I'm under the host."
-Dorothy Parker

THIS IN NO WAY REPRESENTS ME. I just find it hilarious.

"It's safe to say that in a true war story nothing is ever absolutely true." - Tim O'Brien The Things They Carried.

I'm in love with the idea that things can be true without being factual. The emotion that is conveyed in a movie or a book or whatever is a real communication, even if it never happened in that particular way.

Your favorite childhood storybook? The one that you memorized or wore out and all the pages fell out of. If you have one that like~

[identity profile] throwawrench.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Oh hey I might have enough brain back to play this game.

...Except that I'm going to cheat to start. Character(s) you might consider me apping? Rape optional.

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Everyone should app me my canon. Srsly. I would really love a Marie or a Medusa or a Spirit so bad. But especially the first two. Marie is totally a sweet-heart who would marry a toilet (srsly, this is canon) while Medusa is hot and sexy in the rapist kind of way. GO GET ME THEM.

Besides that, uuuuuh. I have no idea. |D

Now I'm going to cheat and ask the same question back at you.
Edited 2008-09-30 02:51 (UTC)

[identity profile] throwawrench.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
After this weekend I have seen your canon through episode 22! And would we would have watched more except that we ran out of episodes downloaded and had no internet at con. XD

As for the question! I... would also have to start with girls from my canon, I guess? Because there as many awesome girls as guys and yet somehow we have none of them in our cast. Probably Nice? I love her a lot. She's a delinquent with an eyepatch, burn scars and a canon explosives fetish. :3 Chane (mute broken knife-wielding terrorist) would also be cool but really difficult due to being mute, and Rachel (small competent girl who works for an information shop) would also be great but in a much more subdued way.

How did you first hear about Soul Eater?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
It's on Veoh!

Oh, boy. Let's see if I can remember this right. I first heard about Soul Eater from my flist. Some people talked about it and mentioned how retardedly awesome it was and one even had a Shinigami-sama icon. But I resisted reading or watching it until curiosity got the better of me. So I started off with the manga and... basically I was doomed from the start--but especially since chapter 5. Orz. I'm very biased for Stein and I was actually insanely happy that no one else apped him or was thinking of apping him, so... yeah.

What's the best thing about being roommates with people you RP with?

[identity profile] throwawrench.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
Ladd's working on downloading more, so we'll probably be up to current on the anime shortly. ^^

...Oh, man, the best thing? That's hard. I will never stop being pleased about living with people who I can have completely dorky conversations with, although that's a matter of fandom in general and not so much RP specifically. But yeah, being able to be sitting on the couch and look up and say "oh hey Stein just [X]!" (or whatever) and have everyone be excited is pretty fun. :D Also it's nice everyone understands that "running a post" is a perfectly good way to spend a day, and that maybe that means someone else should take a turn at cooking.

Do you play many video games? (If so, what?)

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
I actually don't play many video games. I'm not good at strategy games and I'm not really good with first-person shooter games (though I love them) simply because I'm a little trigger-happy and have a tendency to shoot my teammates because they keep getting in my scopes (I love me being a sniper). So normally RP games like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy games keep my interest and are easy for me to deal with :D

What's one series you could rec me? Anime, TV, or otherwise.

[identity profile] throwawrench.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
RPGs are good! I like other games too, but I continue to have more RPGs on my to-play list than time to play them.

...This weekend I also happily rewatched all of my canon with someone who hadn't seen it yet, so other than Baccano!, you mean? ^^; Hmm. Honestly I haven't really watched television in more than a year, and I haven't watched much new anime lately, either! A lot of my fandoms lately have been video games, which is why I asked. (Lately I've been cheating and getting through more games by watching housemates play while I'm doing other things. Like camp.) So, if video games count, Persona 3. As for anime, the one I'm liking a lot lately (other than Baccano! and Soul Eater >_>) is Gurren Lagann.

Same question to you!

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
I can rec a number of shows, probably. House, I would definitely rec. Bones, Cold Case... as for anime, I suggest Code Geass (since it ended recently). Manga, I've got loads of recs going from Kekkaishi to Alive! The Final Evolution to Franken Fran to Deadman Wonderland to D.Gray-man and... probably others. Not much to rec in the way of games though...

What's your favorite color?

[identity profile] throwawrench.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
Hahaha, House, yes. I have seasons 1-3 on DVD, which I liked a lot! I haven't seen much past that, though, because I failed at keeping up with it when season 4 was on. I should really catch back up, though. I was thinking about it the other day, and Amazon's been sending me "season 5 is available online" emails. ^__^

Red! Actually in general, contrasting colors. But red and black are my favorite set of contrasting colors, and red is more of a color than black.

If your life was suddenly a post-apocalyptic Hollywood movie, what role would you play in the rag-tag group of survivors?

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
If you go to [livejournal.com profile] houseepisodes and join it, you can have access to downloads of all the episodes--new episodes of season 5 even come out about a few hours to a day after it's shown on TV.

My role would probably be the one that sticks with the group but doesn't really do much in the way of connecting with people and who supports the leader of the group except when they're being retarded and dumb. Also may or may not laugh at inappropriate things in a morbid way.

Where's one place you'd like to visit in the world the most?

[identity profile] throwawrench.livejournal.com 2008-09-30 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
I may have to check that out, then. For a while I was doing okay at remembering to go find a torrent on the days things showed on TV, but I'm sure I'd do a lot better with things showing up on my flist.

I could be really predictable and say Japan. Or New York, which somehow I have never been to. Thing is... I probably have the funds and vacation time that I could go spend a week in these places if I decided to? But I feel like I would want there to be several conditions in place, because I'd get burned out really quickly. Like potentially going with people I knew, and definitely having lots of mundane recovery time before having to go back to work again. >_> And really, I think I have people that I would like to meet and hang out with more than places I would want to visit for the sake of the place.

What's your favorite animal?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_overshadowed_/ 2008-09-30 11:28 am (UTC)(link)
What would Stein do to Rabi if he could do/ask ANYTHING without consequences.

[identity profile] iscrewtothink.livejournal.com 2008-10-06 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
... it has to be one thing?

MOSTLY, HE'D HAVE TO BADTOUCH THE EYE, SORRY RABI.

Tell me something interesting about Ari's relationships in camp!
